This viral children’s rhyme like ad garnered major awards in 5 different categories. Who would have thought that a cartoony animation, sense of humor and witty appealing song would make a great train safety awareness advertisement? It has over 50 million views on Youtube, quite a number of people humming along its catchy tune.
Dove “Real Beauty Sketches
Agency: Ogilvy & Mather, São Paulo, Brazil
An inspiring thought left to me by this ad is to not look down on myself, though this was ment for women. 🙂 The campaign used a criminal sketch artist to draw women’s faces based on how they described themselves and as other people defined them. The glaring difference made the women realize that they are more beautiful than they think – quite a reminder.
Meet the Superhumans
Agency: Agency: 4Creative, London
Client: Channel 4
Used for last year’s Paralympic Games, this awe-inspiring ad made the Olympics look second-rate. This advertisement by the British TV network Channel 4 blew their viewers with the action-packed cut scenes of the athletes while playing on the Paralympics. The added underdog lifting factor with some of the players’ origin stories made this campaign more brilliant.
