We may be in the digital age right now, where almost everything can be done by the computer, but there are artists who still manage to stay afloat by showing off the brilliance of their handworks.

Alessandra Lanot took up Communications from the Ateneo de Manila University. She, later on, studied graphic design in New York. At present, Alessa is a blogger, designer, craft teacher and vegetarian resto owner. In her blog, Life After Breakfast, Alessa displays everything out of her own creativity- watercolor illustration, photography, calligraphy, rubber stamping, crafts, etc. That creativity was birthed as early as her childhood days, when she also started to cultivate her passion in crafting. As a kid, she started to try calligraphy and would ask for art materials as Christmas gifts. No wonder, she’s an expert now!

Alessa is a geek when it comes to watercolor painting. That’s just one of the skills that earned her a living. Aside from her corporate clients, she also offers her services to engaged couples wanting to have a creative wedding. And that’s because Alessa can add colors and life to wedding invites, decors and giveaways.

When asked where she gets her inspirations, travel is the answer. Exposing herself to different cultures stimulates her creativity. It’s probably working for her, who’s able to do something creative everyday. See for yourself here: www.lifeafterbreakfast.com
