Whether you are an aspiring or a professional graphic designer, a set of free creative graphic design resources will always come in handy. You can find variety of resources on the web that shares downloadable stock images, brushes, textures, patterns, fonts, etc. that could help you be more creative.

Here is a collection of some of the best sources for your graphic design project that you can carry along your creative journey.

General Resource



deviantART is the leading community for art enthusiast. You can find almost everything in this site, including stock photos, brushes, textures and more. These resources are submitted by the community members who love to showcase their talents.


Stock Photo



Flickr is one of the famous websites for photo-sharing. It offers a collection of images by the amazing photographers of our generation. View user-submitted images in their Creative Commons section.




Another popular stock photo site is stock.xhchng (SXC). It is the leading FREE stock photo site. Having over 300,000+ of available stock images and thousands of photographers sharing their photos, this site is definitely worth having on your artillery. They also have photography and graphic design tutorials for your own learning.





TextureKing has a decent collection of stock textures. Though they have quite a small number of available textures, the quality and selections are something you can’t criticize adversely.


Lost and Taken


Lost and Taken is my personal favorite when it comes to textures. It is a blog-style resource dedicated to share a wide range of FREE high resolution textures.




Brusheezy has a wide collection of Photoshop Brushes and other graphic design resource. You might want to visit its sister site called Vecteezy that offers free vector images.




BrushKing is one of the sites that offer wide-range of downloadable brushes. It has over 8000+ brushes and 400+ packs available for free.



dafont is a great resource for fonts, You can painlessly find the font you want with the sites user-friendly search feature. Here are their Top 100 most popular fonts.

urbanfont is another great site for fonts. It is excellent for their high-quality free fonts. You can check their popular fonts here.


There are just too many other sites that are dedicated to offer great graphic design resources. These are just some of the sites I use on my projects, and I’m glad I could share it with you.
